Arqueologia do Movimento: um estudo sobre mobilidade humana em diferentes escalas
EMENTA
Trabalhar com a questão do movimento em sociedades humanas em diferentes escalas espaciais e temporais. Pretende-se discutir questões como Povoamento, Colonização, Migração, Dispersão, ciclos de mobilidade sazonal, Caminhos e áreas de atividade. A proposta é discutir, a partir do enfoque da arqueologia, as dinâmicas envolvidas no deslocamento de pessoas em escala macro-regional, regional e local. Quais são as implicações, em termos arqueológicos, dos diferentes processos mencionados acima? Eles envolvem dinâmicas distintas? Estas dinâmicas são passíveis de serem identificadas no registro arqueológico? Para essa discussão pretendemos trazer estudos de caso que envolvam o deslocamento de populações, grupos sócio-culturais e indivíduos tanto em longa quanto curta distância. Estes estudos de caso envolverão sociedades também de diferentes escalas, embora haja uma ênfase em dinâmicas de movimento relacionadas a sociedades de pequena e média escala. Trabalharemos com estudos de caso que integram dados arqueológicos, etnoarqueológicos, etnográficos e históricos com o intuito de fomentar um diálogo interdisciplinar no estudo deste tema. Será conferida especial atenção a aspectos metodológicos, discutindo estratégias metodológicas para identificar, analisar e compreender as dinâmicas de movimento adotadas por sociedades humanas em diferentes locais e tempo.
